The Reina Sofía Museum is open on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm, and on Sundays from 10:00 am to 2:30 pm. It remains closed on Tuesdays. There are specific time slots for free admission on certain days and at certain times, reserved exclusively for individual visitors. These coincide with the busiest periods, so it is advisable to visit during quieter time slots (midday hours).

The museum is closed on January 1 and 6, May 1 and 15, November 9, and December 24, 25 and 31, except for occasional changes.
